Wow. I finally hit 1MM last November and flew EWR-IAD/BOS a lot and TIL the 500 minimum was on lifetime BIS too. I always just thought it was for PQM only. Learn something new every day.

Nope, I did not. I booked it normally on the website on united.com so I could apply my GPU to the second UA segment as well. Wasn't sure if it would have worked the other way around.
