You don't need an OV Chipkaart to ride the train. You can buy a paper ticket with a chip for an additional €1. But other agree the bus ride is just as quick as train and tram.

Kristina, would it not have been easier to ask Spirit? Usually a travel voucher is not specific to a person and can be used on any ticket but who knows with Spirit.

The 197 is ran by Connexion. The single GVB bus is the 300 to Sloterdijk Station. Then from there you would have to connect to the metro and then a tram to reach your hotel.

It will depend on what aircraft is flying your route. If it is an A320 there are only 4 BFS. It's a gamble you'll have to take. I wouldn't as the economy seat pitch is VERY tight.
