Part of me is hoping a carrier like PAL or Pacific Coastal buys the DH3s and starts operating them as Westjet Link. I can see AC reducing frequencies or cutting services to smaller markets (like...

Good for Westjet. I think AC's taken a lot of pax for granted for a long time, especially ex. YYC. With Westjet offering a real FF program, solid J/PE products, partnerships, and now a gorgeous...

The Saskatchewan and "second tier" Ontario routes (London-Ottawa, Windsor-Montreal) routes don't surprise me, as there are connection opportunities via major hubs.

What shocks me though, is the...

What about the Iceland flights? I'm thinking YYZ/YUL-KEF. Both are within range for the Rouge 321s (per AC's website), so perhaps these could be used on these runs, at least until the MAX issues are...

I'll miss the 763s. They really played a huge part in AC's network over the years, and I always enjoyed the 2x3x2 Y configuration, whether on short YYZ-YOW/YUL runs, or long YYC-FRA/LHR segments.

Yikes. I didn't think the flights would be quite that empty!

Has anyone else tried out one of these flights? Are the loads any better on others?

What about Rouge 333s sometime in the future (5-10 years)? I can see AC eventually taking some of the older frames from mainline and putting them in a Transat-like configuration (PE and Y only) on...

Yikes, looks the website has been updated with even more cuts for April: For example:

- LGA cut entirely, EWR gets 1 daily to YYZ. Nothing to YUL.
- YVR-YYC/YEG down to 2 daily each.
- YYC-YEG...

The new schedule is pretty wild...as a YEG-based passenger, it's crazy to see routes like YLW go from 6 or 7 to 1 daily, YXE go from 21 to 3 weekly, or YYZ go from 5 or 6 to 1 daily...

AC really does seem to be retreating on YYC-IAH, I assume Westjet has played a large part in that. I wouldn't be surprised to see AC pull out of the route completely and just giving it to UA and WJ...

Wow. AC has really increased its presence in France over the last few years! The A333 sure seems like a big plane for the route, but I guess with the 763s leaving and the tiny 788 fleet, it makes...

YEG-EWR (Seems like a perfect A220 route - previously tried with UA A319. Better economics of A220 and good timing to complement YYC service would be ideal).

My first thought though - thats a lot of capacity! For some reason, I thought the 220 would be somewhere between E90 and 319, more as an E90 replacement, but this is...
