Who isn't a price shopper these days, outside of corporate clients, especially on routes where more than one airline has a hub on either end? Scheduling isn't often a big issue for these trunk routes...

That's what is surprising me though. I've flown DEN-Chicago 7x this year. That's 14 flights -- and 0 of them have been on UA. There's 5 carriers competing on that route - UA, AA, NK, WN, and F9.

DL allows BE fares to have a regular sized carry on. AA took that away, then brought it back. UA took it away and still hasn't brought it back.

Frankly, I haven't booked UA since that change....

Never understood why people would pay to board early on anything but WN. As if multiple hours on a tube isn't long enough. Especially with the basic Economy options taking out some carry-on luggage.
