when does altitude status expire for 2015

I won't have altitude status this coming 2016 year, but I have status from 2015. Do the privileges expire on the 29th of February 2016?

I need 1000 miles for Altitude. I will be flying LAX/YUL during Christmas and returning prior to 2015, I would only need one flight with 100% miles on Flex fare. If I flew Tango at 50% Aeroplan...

Now add a third bag and the total is $160+ tax. Truly amazing. Well carry-on it is for the extra items. I was spoiled with the two free bags on prestige.

I didn't make my status the past year and so I have to pay for my baggage. I just want a clarification.

First bag is $25 and the second is $35.
