This is clearer, thanks. ORD-LHR is scheduled to arrive 13:15 (23:30 CT departure) - definitely past midnight in London. We will not be checking luggage, so we'd just be an airside transit T3-T5....

Actually, it is not a single ticket. The ORD-LHR flight is booked but the LHR-PSA flight is not (looking at BA 606). Given that, how does that change the dynamics re: security, immigration, etc.?
