The hotel never got back to me, so I cancelled my reservation. If they can't even reply to an email in 36 hours, I can only imagine the service they will provide once I am a captive audience....

Hotel has never opened. I don't see any exception for "never opened hotels do not need to honor the guarantee". What am I missing? Also, corporate is telling me that the guarantee is suspended...

You could have changed it to a different award that you might take in the future. AS would have refunded the difference in miles and taxes

Agent dependent, yes. I have a second set ot tickets that will call in on in a few months when I have more clarity about what 2021 will look like, But I suspect DL will let me push it back to EOS...

My statement is that DL will not honor this fare in F. Period. No amount of DOT complaints or well written letters to customer care or their executives...

I was able to push my second set of tickets into June 2021 and got a partial refund of $53 per ticket. I assume it has to do with currency fluctuations
