Award ticket changed, but no tax refund

I changed my *A award ticket which resulted in a refund of $ 50 in taxes due to changes in destinations and award zones.

It's worth noting that one-way awards can be used on KE-operated flights only.
Also, Skyteam Awards are only available for round trip.
So, your best bet is two one-way awards if you want to...

I know KE is one of the founding members of ST,
but Korean Air itself claims here in Korea that it is heading Skyteam and the local news papers clearly seem to think so.
