As a side issue, I would avoid the A321 planes...

As a side issue, I would avoid the A321 planes from LAX to HNL, as they are not most comfortable even in domestic first. Try routing from DFW to get a bigger plane

An AA desk is likely to re-print the boarding pass on AA card for the AA flight, with the correct AA record locator (not the BA reference), but the BA pass will work, so no problem.
