I requested for a refund on a Monday. I was told that the process could take anywhere from 1 to 3 months. My money was deposited back to my account on Wednesday night. I was pleasantly surprised!

I triggered the refund request online on March...

I triggered the refund request online on March 17, got an email from ANA confirming reservation cancellation on April 1 and got my money back in my credit card on April 3 so 2.5-ish weeks total.

This could be an authorization hold not an actual charge. Merchants would sometimes do this to see if the credit card you used is valid and to ensure that you have sufficient funds.
