Last time I must have been extremely lucky. I went through passport control at LAX with basically no waiting time...

Except that he did leave the Schengen area with the same passport that he entered it on. He then entered Bulgaria with his Bulgarian passport. Bulgaria isn't in Schengen yet.

We wear jeans and t-shirts as well. We even wear shorts. When it's warm during summer I walk around in shorts and flip-flops.

Honestly, I'm curious which ones don't. And countries that are only surrounded by Schengen countries don't count as they obviously won't have (permanent) exit controls on land borders.
