I just tried booking ATL-LGA award, and while it initially showed "sky saver" available, when I picked dates, the lowest reward required was 37,500 miles.

No more CDG if I could help it!

I can't agree more. My 86 yo mom and I just came back from ATL-TLV round-trip, and we had to connect at CDG twice in two weeks. I can honestly say that this is the worst airport I've ever connected...

My rates are in the $100-200/hr, too, but I don't bill my clients for travel time, and I would be very upset if my clients billed me for travel time.

Am I unique?

Still, the question remains...

Why can't DL and the rest of them re-calculate the price so that base fare is increased/reduced by the net change in tax? Sounds fairly simple, and I would not mind it even if my "base fare" went up...

Yes, that's what I think, too. Hotel room + 2 meals costs $$$, with their fares, I don't see how they can make money.

310 was OK by me, but it was full! Now, *that* was unpleasant.

Picky, Picky, I know

I seem to recall that original qualification for Medallion level (mid-80's) was 40,000 miles a year, with 1,000 minimum for a flight, not 25,000 as you state. I think DL and the rest of the majors...
