OP - I just did this flight last week and recommend seats 2AC over 1HK. Seats 1HK are closer to the galley and lav and thus more prone to noise and light.
Again, another 1+ for VA over DL on this...

Can't say for sure. The VA lounge is over in the domestic terminal and I was over in the international terminal. The two terminals are not connected airside.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think the spg points have to be transferred in 5k allotments. I put a value of 2.2 cents/spg point. So, at 5k x 0.022 = $110 it's cheaper to transfer to spg points...
