Does anyone know if the functionality to upgrade latitude international tickets against P availability has finally just been definitively disabled?

I'm on a J9C9D9P9 flight over the holiday period...

I live in London. Just wondering whether they see LGW and LHR as one market for SDC purposes. Would probably be analogus to EWR to LGA -- has anyone tried SDC between those two airports?

If you are changing the number of legs to get to destination or have a confirmed upgrade before doing SDC I find that it is manual and time intensive to try and get a change.

Just to be clear, coming in from Europe you can have up to 24 hours in YVR before your next flight on. Anything more than 24 hours is a stopover. Anything less than 24 hours till your next segment...
