I am going and want to ski Vail and be in village. I've stayed at the Cascade before which is lift in/out...but not in village.

Nearly every good resort does this for Christmas. Before leaving FS-CR, we were given the option to re-book prior to them opening to others. We had 30 to 60 days to act, too.
