Worst case, just walk up to the EK chauffeur lounge outside of arrivals. They'll likely hook you up even though you only have an 18 hour layover (at least one way).

If I have to renew my passport, do my long term foreign visas move along with them?

My passport is expiring in 2014. I have a 10 year India business visa that's a big sticker in my passport. I also have Global Entry with my current passport. Do these transfer to my new passport?

What a gorgeous city. Last time I was there, I was in business on an AA flight....in the smoking section! Back in 1995. Crazy to think they once allowed smoking on planes....

No, they didn't. In fact, they made me aware that as a FC passenger, we were allowed one guest each, so therefore, we were able to bring our kids into the FC lounge.

Don't worry, you'll get into the lounges, it will just take some insistence and persistence from your end. Just make sure they understand you're flying on AS miles, and that you're not EK staff.
