I'm specifically looking at AA 125 on Nov 9 and 10. This would be a paid J-class ticket. I would be happy to pay the implied price of a connection (i.e. the IAH-DFW leg), but they won't even sell me...

AA blocking DFW-HKG O&D tickets?

I'm trying to book DFW-HKG business class in mid-November for a work trip. The seat map shows about half the seats available, but the website shows business class as sold out. I called the EXP...

Hard product
AA is the winner now with the 77W and retrofitted 772s. If you get any of AA's old 777s then BA is the clear winner. The legacy 777 angle flat product is terrible.

I actually like...

It's very difficult for a gold to ever clear, as you probably know. That being said, I flew a 787 from LAX to DFW in February and there were easily 15+ business seats open just before I cleared. I...

I know it's a zero sum outcome but personally I love these changes ^

I fly long haul business frequently so my EQD is quite high. I'm a cheapskate though so I almost never use reward points to...

A few options:

1) Upgrade to first for the special occasion. Also solves the suit problem.

2) Buy a carry on bag that doubles as a garment bag. I use a Samsonite one for work and my suit...

Taking the 4:30pm flight from DEN-DFW this afternoon. EF shows J7 and seat map confirms. As of last night EF also showed C3. Looks like I won't clear until the gate. Weather is fine so hard to...

Surely you are joking? AA's legacy J class, which they still routinely use on flights to Seoul and Tokyo, is way worse than BA's CW. You know, the one that features angled flat seats, 3 across in the...

Echo the above comments. I flew F from DFW-ICN and found the seats to be really worn out. To be fair, they were reasonably comfortable, but the IFE was a joke and you need a DC converter for power....

What's AA going to do, give me a spanking? If I want to give someone cash for doing a great job that's my business. It's not like I'm a supplier negotiating a contract with the employee.

Maybe AA...

Not to mention, who carries around a spare Starbucks gift card or two just in case they need to tip their flight attendant. Pretty silly distinction some people are drawing.

AA's hard product on the 77W, 787, and 772 (refurbished) are as good as any other product out there.

Where AA falls short, and frankly probably won't improve, is quality of cabin crew. The...

Yep. Anybody who does a lot of international travel is doing will be using AA's partners a lot too. These tend to be high spend business customers. Hope AA does the right thing with partner EQD. ^
