PQD: $4,886 (CC spend waiver)

Flew over 100k BIS again this year but I've enjoyed burning RDM and flying OAL, so I'll stay Gold for 2015.

Am I correct in assuming, on a CR9, that the 22" TravelPro will fit if it's not overstuffed? I'm in F on a DCA-JFK flight.

Thanks for the advice about 5D and 5G, jchock1, as I'd been considering them. Right now only those two seats and the aft business cabin are available for a couple traveling together. There aren't a...

Last time I got there around 90 minutes before departure, or about 4:00 am. There was no line for check-in and I had time to kill. Your best bet is probably to go to the lounge (which should be open)...

I've flown 6J/K several times on that route (both ways) and have never found it blocked or bumped. It's the safest bet for row 6 on the 772.

Lufthansa, no question. The flight is long enough to enjoy their superior F product, one less connection, no running hell-for-leather to catch a plane in BRU, the FCT at FRA (catch up on some sleep...

Add me to the chorus of people who like the upper deck on the 747. It's as close as most of us will get to the feeling of flying on a private jet for 12+ hours.

36 miles short of Premier Silver -- Will United Round Up?

Just a fair warning, some agents will tell you that a bump-up is a once-in-a-lifetime favor, so you may be wasting that on a status you're going to get anyway. Might have been a MILA in my case but...

I would take the direct flight on Swiss unless the price is outrageous; none of the other airlines merit a connection. Swiss have great flat bed seats with aisle access and a good soft product. With...
