Based on the information we have been given, it appears that the agent may have made a mistake, most likely by thinking that the “FRA” on the visa limited its validity to France only, or by expecting...

9248 is a rescue flight and is not open to the public—even agents can’t book it. 1299 is likely blocked off for people who held reservations on cancelled MIA-SJU flights and are just now being...

Believe me, some of us are working tirelessly on this.

The LAA A319s would probably keep the IFE until they needed to be reconfigured, but since they’re already at 30” pitch in standard...

To my knowledge, everyone in the safety video is an actual AA employee. I vaguely recall seeing a posting asking for crewmembers to audition for it.

To be fair, I doubt the duvets cost as much as the headphones.

I suppose nothing would really happen if one stole a duvet (because it is stealing), but it's incredibly tacky and the OP can...

Correct. The E190, MD-80, and 787-8/-9 are the only mainline fleet types that do not fly to MIA.

I think MIA will get the A330-300 on South American trips to replace 767s before any 787s.

That's a 75L. Considering that there are only two active domestic configuration 757s remaining and LUS equipment doesn't operate ORD-MIA, the odds are overwhelmingly in your favor that it'll hold.

The PNR will automatically split when the return flight departs and one of the travelers no-shows. It shouldn't affect the trip at all.

I've read elsewhere that some airlines have their flight service managers "ghost ride" to evaluate FA performance, but I don't know if AA is one of those carriers.

The only reason I can see an FA...

9400-series flights are charters. AA typically uses "HGR" or "PAD" as a placeholder gate number when the flight isn't leaving from or arriving at a regular gate.

Independent of the actual number of masks, I don't believe AA's system lets agents assign two travelers with lap infants to the same block of seats.

I never realized that CLT handled so many flights with such a relatively small number of gates. MIA has about 60 mainline gates and the same number of total flights and still runs into issues with...

I know of at least one airport with cameras pointed at the doorways and desks. I don't know if management is actively watching them as a form of quality control, but they're there.

Isn't the future of that up in the air since LAX-SYD is being downgraded to a 787? The 77W that currently flies MIA-LAX continues on to SYD.

It's possible, but much more cumbersome to do this in QIK than in native Sabre and (for most agents) not worth the added complexity to bypass a policy.

It's not a policy that someone must be carrying their own carry-ons, but I wouldn't be surprised if the agent's superiors were reviewing camera footage for apparent violations of the 1+1 allowance.
