The reason is that BA crews are not customer centric and don’t give this a second thought. Same reason why some will not serve you water when it’s one hour to landing.

The lady did nothing wrong but your behaviour was terrible. You actually demanded that she let you go first because you chose to bring a child? What do you know about why the lady was in a rush?...

I agree with the posters, who said that CW on this route was a good value despite being a short flight. Service tends to be much better relative to other CW services, I'd even say that the 321 is...

I don’t understand why the aggressive BA loyalists always seem to make references to the incredible storage bins on A380 UD. Who actually uses them in-flight and fishes their belongings from the...

Can you imagine I’ve gone from years of virtually 100% of my work travel being QR J to a mix of BA J and LH/OS/LX SH J. No wonder I’m so bitter re BA ;)

If you still have the choice, switch to QR. You’re virtually guaranteed excellent service and the best hard (and soft) product in the industry. With BA J, you’re virtually guaranteed the opposite....

Good summary. Though I find PE service levels higher than CW, that is if you’re intent on drinking. You can ask for several drinks when the trolley comes rather than spend one hour waiting for a half...

“Pleasant but inefficient” is quite a way to sugarcoat it. Sounds like a typical CW service experience. The crew must’ve been busy chatting as always and taken the light cabin load as a pass to go...

I see your point. But what I was trying to say is that BoB is a perfect fit for BA like it is for Ryanair. The alternative to BoB on Ryanair would be no catering at all, whereas the alternative to...

I don’t understand the issue with BoB. I think it’s a blessing for an airline like BA with lazy crews who tend to do the bare minimum. BoB allows you to buy as much catering as you wish. Much better...

I agree with you. My reports of people breaking down and vowing not to return are just that - reports. However, I have been travelling to Israel at least once every month for the past 3 years. The...

Back to the topic - I agree with you, with the exception of BoB. I think jetties make a real impact to the journey, particularly relative to the low-cost carriers. I’ve observed the same situation at...
