you'd be better to just buy Koru if you fly Air NZ overseas.

and with international airports, you can find much better eating at restaurants compared with lounges and for a couple of trips a year...

I do this all the time, as it can be hundreds of dollars cheaper than booking with Air NZ... No brainer.

Usually issue is sometimes the ticketed carrier may not be Air NZ... So you may miss out on...

Would Air NZ, stop someone boarding a flight if they didn't have the appropriate visas?

Bearing in mind this is a transit query and USA is the transit location.
