United code-share S class = Econ Extra?

Hi.

I'm booked on a one way ticket from IAD-CPH on the UA code-share flight number (UA9404).

I am booked in S class, which is normally discounted Economy Extra with SAS. I just want to confirm that that is the case also when I am booked on a United ticket. Does anyone of you smart guys know that?

Best regards, Rasmus.

UA S class is translated to SK W class.
You will be seated in regular economy and earn 25% miles.

Some websites (e.g. Orbitz) will let you pick an economy extra seat, but that will be changed at or before check-in.

SK sees this every day and there's no way they'll let you sit in economy extra.

United ticket in B class = ??

Similar question: does anyone know what United B class translates to on a SAS codeshare...? Will it be economy extra?

These are quite expensive economy tickets, but I think they are still sligthly cheaper than SAS B class.

B Class is higher on the bookingclass scale and gives 100% points, it doesn't book in to Economy Extra, though

Is it only Y-class on UA flight number that books into Economy Extra? Or does even Y-class give you Economy seating?

On ExpertFlyer, when displaying the seat maps for the UA codeshare flight both Y and B actually displays the Economy Extra cabin while M displays the Economy cabin.

I guess ExpertFlyer shows this wrong but they are usually rather correct. Maybe something has changed?

I love the UA S operated by SK. Although it maps to SK W and doesn't give miles, the availability corresponds to the SK S and you pretty much can book UA S on SK metal even if the M cabin is overbooked and you are assured an op-up

Soudns great but just made a test and they didn't match:

It is funny. A UA B-fare says any SK-flights included shall be booked in B, but on the codeshares the seatmaps shows the P-cabin.

Thanks for the quick replies. It's like I suspected then. It seems that our corporate fares with UA which book in B are very similarly priced as SK fares which book in E.
