SAS & Air Baltic

The air baltic (www.airbaltic.lv) website says that it's "well connected" with SAS
and the SAS website shows air baltic as a partner...does that mean that flighs on air baltic count toward United Mileage Plus credit?

Air Baltic is a partner of SAS and not United. Therefor you dont earn any UA Mileage Plus miles while flying Air Baltic.

Do code shares or other flights booked by SAS on a non *A partner count for MP credit? Or do yo mean you will never get MP credit regardless of who's ticket you travel on?

You will only get MP credit for codeshare flights on Star Alliance metal. So if you're flying BT, you won't get any MP miles, regardless of wheter it is on SK or BT code.
