Frequent Booking Engine Errors
 
Have any of you noticed the recent booking engine errors when trying to book award travel on the sas website? I keep getting the error:

"Booking System unavailable. Please try again later or contact SAS for assistance. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to return to full service as soon as possible".

This has been going on all week, and I would like to take advantage of the 1,000 extra points for booking online. Hope this error is resolved soon. Maybe an email to internet support would help?

I booked a MUC-CPH-BMA//ARN-MUC two days ago and it didn't allow me to go for the eticket option (there was no etix option button!) Before I could call the internet office for germany the ticket was already issued...

There is no email address available for the SAS websites anymore... you have to call!

I have also noticed a small bug that is new. When booking tickets for 2 persons online and choosing e-ticket the engine asks for a a e-ticket ID for passenger number two. Even though it says that if choosing e-ticket only one e-ticket card shuld be registerd. Strange http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/tongue.gif

Actually, then it is the text that is wrong. Two people should no longer be able to travel on one e-ticket identifier. There should be one for each traveller... This was changed quite a while ago...

I've pretty much figured out what messes up the booking engine 100% of the time.

Try to book an award ticket, and when it lists all of the times, click on the MORE FLIGHTS button. Its a sure way to screw up the booking engine. I've tried it with different city pairs, and still no luck
