A question regarding using EB points for upgrade on SK IC: The fares that are listed on the website (10000 to Y and 30000 to C), are they one-way or return?

They are one way only.

I'll probably book FRA-ICN on OZ - it's a 777 flight - just to check them out. Im going to Taipei again (Computex every year) in June and decided to get a RTW before the price increase on May 1st (22% rise!!).

The FRWSTAR fares are even worse, we're talking about a 40% increase or above (assuming these fares are correct, I just copied them from the *A forum).

I wonder if anybody would seriously consider paying 128,000 SEK +taxes for an FRWSTAR3.

Apparently since all airlines are doing well, they see the need to do this, but isn't it some *serious* inflation?!!

I have seen F on SQ full most of the time on SIN-BOM, with some biz execs flying F exclusively, but wow! (I'm in Y usually )

Also number of HON's in India are reportedly very high....

Glada Valborgsmässoafton till alla! The financial markets in Stockholm have already closed for the day. In Helsinki, trading still continues, but at a much lower pace than usual. Nothing special in other Nordic countries. Is this a day that´s celebrated elsewhere? Tomorrow of course is, but the last of April?

I as a former resident of Finland will have a small "party" here in Thailand for sure
And tomorrow morning, piknik... Just gotta find a place to emulate Ullanlinnanmaki and some beer from 7/11.

What is Valborgsmässoafton? We don't have that in Norway or Danmark.

However in Norway do we have something called "Natt til 1. mai" (Night to May 1.) which is a day/night which thousands of Norwegian youths drink as much as they can and don't be surprised if you find a young person passed out in a ditch on this day

Pretty much the same thing the youngsters seem to be celebrating in Norway as well.

I would say that the Swedish Valborgsmässoafton is pretty much like the Norwegian Sankthans (except obviously on completely different dates), combined with all the extra youth drinking as you also describe!

It's basically the start of the spring which is celebrated.
