How many points for this?
Hi Everyone,
first of all just a shout-out to all the helpful EB guru's here.. very interesting to follow! I would be most greatful for a quick answer to the following: I am thinking about booking an Econ extra ticket EWR-CPH -EWR using the US promotion they have now. Instead of coming straight home, the site lets me do the following routing on my return trip: 15:35 CPH - 18:05 ORD SK0943 20:45 ORD - 23:41 LGA UA0836 my question is Will I get 150% points for the entire trip? When I have done EWR-ARN-CPH, I of course get points for the ARN-CPH leg, but what is exact alloctation when it is UA metal? will it just be as if I bought a B ticket on UA? i.e. 100% points? I could go direct as well but am trying to figure out if such a long trip might be worth the extra points.. thanks, -Dennis p.s. no matter how I go, this will be the trip that puts me in gold. hard earned on 100% personal travel with plenty of 25% travel. |
Metal counts, so the EBS/EBG bonus will only fall out for the SK operated sector and full fare economy will only give 100% miles for UA operated flight (no matter if it has SK flight number).
