How full is my flight?
Hi folks. In some other threads, I've seen that people have been able to find out how many seats are remaining in a certain class for a certain flight (for example, SK 901 still has 3 seats in Y as of today, etc etc).
How do you guys find this out? Is there a website I can check to get this info for SAS? What about other airlines? I'd love to be able to find out how full or empty a flight will be before I get on it or before I reserve tickets. Thanks in advance for any help. |

You can download a program called "Availability tool".
It's free of charge although it only works a few hours every day (it will tell you if the system is "up" or "down" when you start it). But when it's up you can find all kinds of information about availability, how many tickets left for each fare class, timetable information, even seat maps for each individual flight. About download. Don't remember which site but try one of the major search engines and I'm sure you'll find it. Merry christmas and welcome to FT btw. |

Good bet is united.com. See the United Mileage Plus forum here on FT and have a look at the FAQ sticky on how to use united.com in expert mode.
I can also recommend KVS Availability tool, written by another FT'er (KVS). You may find the following useful: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=319244 The download link is updated in the first post. NB: Once installed, you'll need to PM KVS to get an access code. |
