Finding an old ticket number

I have been rebooked from DUS-WAW on LO to DUS-CPH-WAW, the first leg on SK. The automatic EB credit and retro credit fail. I suspect that retro credit fails because I do not know the correct ticket number for DUS-CPH. I noticed that CPH-WAW got a new 080 ticket number (different than the original one), and the DUS-CPH was booked on SK flight number, not a code share (probably there is no code share here for SK/LO). This might mean that DUS-CPH was issued under a 117 ticket no. The rebooking email from LO did not contain ticket numbers, just a PNR.

I wrote to the diamond line to sort this out and credit - and I am moderately optimistic.

But in general, I am quite annoyed that SAS App does not display the ticket number on the historical BPs, and there seems no way (or am I blind?) to recover this ticket number. Even google wallet shows this for BPs stored in it. I tried loading this, now 8 days old PNR, into LO web tool and the SK web tool, but none of them loads the reservation. Is there any way to retrieve an old ticket number myself?

The ticket number should be in the QR code of the BP? Miles and more allows retrocredit by just scanning the QR code on the BP of the flight you want to claim, so they should have all the info in there. IATA info on BCBPs : https://www.iata.org/contentassets/1...version-7-.pdf

BTW, since LO rebooked you, the entire ticket is on 080 stock, SAS will not get involved there. And the new 080 ticket number you have for CPH-WAW is most likely the one same for DUS-CPH, just the coupon number will differ.

This was a useful and interesting idea. Thank you. I have managed to open the QR code in a generic reader up and can see the ticket number inside.

Even more interestingly SK came back to me with a ticket number I already used and a different one than in the QR code. But they also told me to use booking class O, not E as reported by LO. So I did, and then suddenly it worked. Even more interestingly the dialog box confirming the credit said the class was E not O. Even though with E it did not work, and I entered O. Go figure!

PS. And this innocuous re-booking by LO has put me in GO bucket that paid 1250 pts for the short flight between DUS and CPH. Wow!
