Baggage interline agreement with Finnair

Hi,
I was wondering if someone can check if SAS has an interline baggage agreement with Finnair?

Thanks,
SB

They used to have it in 2017. Don't know if it is still in place but I guess so. Someone with Expertflyer account might give you a more accurate answer, or... crazy idea... call SKs ticket sales

Oh boy... if you have a few days, write to the EBD / EBG desk? They should be able to answer this.

Try the other way around, call AY?

From this documents it looks like the agreement is still in place:

Yes, there is a current interline baggage agreement between SK and AY. Here is a list of all current agreements. Source: IATA via ExpertFlyer. Although the question was not asked, just in case it is behind OP's question, the presence of an interline baggage agreement would not assure that SK would check across separate tickets.

So two separate tickets and the baggage was delivered without issue. That is good to know. I will be dealinb with checkin T JFK with AY and my experience with JFK airlines is that fhe checkin staff seem to make up rules as they go along. I may play it safe and book a longer connection, just in case I need to claim the bag and recheck with SK.

The questions here were from SK to AY, you are looking AY to SK so the answers might be different. I would suggest that you check with the people in the Finnair forum for an update on how AY handles separate tickets.
