SK and flights to Asia

Does anyone have any intelligence on whether SK have got permission to fly into China sorted? They have some relatively reasonable fares from Europe to China compared to some of the other options. Have booked for a Chinese national two flights in October (both Go Pro so can be cancelled).

One reservation is codesharing AirChina from ARN to PEK and with an SK metal flight PEK to CPH on the way back. The AirChina sector inbound in to China is slowing up as waitlisted :( although I have more confidence an AirChina flight will fly.

The other reservation is all on SK metal to PEK, both to/from CPH.

I have seen the press release that they intend to restart flights into China albeit that was to PVG. To be honest it doesn't really matter which gateway they get to fly into, but they are just trying to get a flight booked in Y that doesn't require a mortgage. We are aware of the China "5 ones" policy.

Thanks

As I am aware, the Tuesday flight to Shanghai is confirmed.

Thanks for the feedback. The friend wants to fly to Qingdao TAO, the odd thing is that SAS is quite willing to sell routes via PEK to get to TAO with an add on internal flight from China Airlines. But there are no routes to TAO via PVG.

Ok the basis that they have booked LHR - ARN/CPH - PEK - TAO do you think the SAS call centre would entertain switching an existing reservation Go Pro to be via PVG and construct the connecting flight to TAO from there?
