EDIT: Okay... I know.. technically all 3 cabins are available... but I mean at the standard award level

So they are skipping the plan to fly it around Europe completely?

01/28 has been the planned first flight ever since they took up the A350.
They've been practicing takeoff/landing for a while now, maybe they also had some training for the FAs while doing that.
I'm jealous, I would've loved taking the first commercial flight but I had to be back in NYC last week already, otherwise I would've booked a routing via ORD to be on it

Has 'never' been the plan. At least not since September. Though I had heard that rumour as well last summer. They have been doing touch and go at BLL for some time. in stead

I had to ditch flying it since I can’t go back yet. But I have no regrets (yet) as I am going to be on it at least twice or thrice before next month is over and that is when I may start to have regrets since it’s likely to be maximum pain class on SK long-haul.

I like how they didn't apply the fake wood in the front of the cabin because of the impeccable logic that applying wood to anything makes it look Scandinavian. This looks much better.

Why is everyone dressed the same?

I think one of the major problems were down to CPH being delayed with finishing the new pier E gates. Without them, CPH do not have any domestic/Schengen gates which is large enough for handling the A350. The new E20/120 (as far as I remember) is not fully operational yet. They are still installing seats etc. in the gate. The 2 new E gates on the other side is at least 1-2 months out before they are operational.

I'm not sure whether I like the old or new style better.
Of course wood is very cliche but it was different which I liked.

Did you visit the cheaper, back seats on this plane to see if there was a plebeian revolt in the making before or after I’m there? I guess that this being SAS means there won’t be much of a revolt.

Removing the "summer house from the 70ies" look that the fake wood panels gave also gets a thumbs up from me.

Indeed - they managed to make it look pretty good, to be honest!
