Transit time at LHR: what gates does SAS use for arrivals?

Hi all,
Iím on SK 531 from ARN to LHR this Saturday, arriving LHR at 12:55p and departing on UA 4 at 2:10p. I know UA uses T2 B gates, but canít find any information on SAS gates. Iím trying to figure out if we will have to rush from our SK arrival gate to the United gate, or could it be a more leisurely transfer. Does anyone know what gate SK 531 is likely to use? Any input will be appreciated.

SAS will almost always be on the A gates, so yes, rushing will be necessary, though 1 hr+ is not a bad time for connecting.

SAS (and all other short-haul carriers) use a mix of A and B gates, though the majority tends to be A. 1hr 15mins should be fine regardless - expect a 10 minute walk between A and B.

But please remember you need to clear security at LHR. UK (even before the whole Brexit insanity has started) was never part of the EU one stop security. So it is not like in e.g. MUC or ZRH where you just go from gate-to-gate (clearing passport control in between) and you are done. Assuming SK arrives at A gates, you need to clear security, go upstairs, then go downstairs, use the tunnel to walk to B and then go to gate.

Typically (at least from my experience) SAS uses gates A24/25/26 most often. On a few occasions we've used B36 but that's usually on the last flight of the evening when arriving.
