I've heard prices from 4-8.000 DKK, usually quite expensive. Much better when you can get a cheap plusgrade bid through.

I've heard prices as low as USD $350 from ECO to Bizz but would more likely be around USD $500-1000.

I agree plusgrade will most likely be cheaper, but it require you have a ticket issued by SK. If the flight is booked as codeshare you can't use plusgrade

Thanks for the replies. Sorry last stupid question. Can you upgrade direct from economy to business class rather than from plus to business?

Yes that's possible. You can even bid twice on plusgrade for the same flight. One for plus and one for business

Was offered Go to Plus $349 or 25 000 points for ORD-ARN with only middle seats available back in March as a data point. No thanks I'll keep my 41A.

As a data point, about a year ago, I asked for an upgrade for IAD-CPH from Plus to Business and was told it would be either 45000 miles or USD 1150.

Rack rate Plus-Biz TATL is 35,000 points. I did this most recently ORD-CPH in May, which was annoying, since it was an award flight, and I could have gotten two seats for nothing if they had availability, and my plusgrade bid of 25k was denied...
