Which side to sit to avoid the sun?

I'll be flying BOS CPH in C, arriving around 7 AM.

Should I get an A or H seat to avoid the sun?

Thanks.

Well, you arrive from North-West, sun rises in the East... so you want to be on the right hand side of the plane.

Unfortunately, my last three rides were rudely disrupted by fellow pax sliding up the blinds at first glimpse of sun on the horizon :(

Early June. Thanks.

Definitely starboard. The sun sets very late in the north-west and rises very early in the north-east, so the sun will be at 8 o'clock in the beginning and about 10 o'clock towards the end of the flight. There will only be a few hours of darkness in the middle of the flight.

Are you a vampire?

Shoot, you got me! I thought that the user name "RedChili" would fool people, when, in reality, my real name is "Count RedBlood." I guess I'll have to retire to my Transylvanian castle now.

Apart from being a vampire, there are good reasons for avoiding the sunny side. E.g. on long day flights, the window seat gets a fair bit warmer than non sunny side. :)

Perhaps I'm wrong, maybe my thinking is flawed, but... why not sit on the left side? BOS-CPH is eastbound, BOS roughly sits at 42 degrees north, CPH at 55 degrees north... the sun nearly overhead the Tropic of Cancer in June - 23-ish degrees north. It seems to me the passengers on the right side will get the brunt of the sun, no?
