EB earning on Air Canada

Anybody with knowledge?

I’m considering buying CPH-YYZ-SJO with AC in premium economy, but can’t see booking classes anywhere. Only information is 125 % Aeroplan Miles. But what could it be to EB? Maximum seems to be 100 %. Part of the journey is with Canada Rouge (in ‘business class’). What about this leg?

Thanks.

AC Premium Economy booking classes are O, E, N. 100% earning for SK EuroBonus. Regarding AC Rouge... I think Canada Rouge doesn't give any points. Like flying EW or Condor for LH.

Thanks. I fear, you could be right about Rouge. But at least it is operating under a straight AC-number, AC 1806

Depends if it is a AC flight operated by Rouge (like a wetlease) or a Rouge flight with a code(Share) with AC.

It is useless until the booking class is known.

Did you already try to replicate the fare in the matrix?

And a more serious issue arise: what about Mapple-lounge acces in Toronto before the Rouge-leg?

Matrix - ITA Software by Google

You can insert your flight numbers, select the day and choose the PE cabin. If the price matches then the matrix gives you a strong indication what booking class you will get.
Tango Alpha and SK2751 like this.

All AC PE booking classes earn 100% on EB, so doesn't make a difference.

Same issue as with point earnings. If it is an AC flight, operated by Rouge, you should get lounge access... and points. If it is an Rouge flight where AC has a codeshare on, probably not. I would try the AC board to find out if that Rouge segment is considered a wet-leased operation or a codeshare.

For any body who cares:

The Rouge-flight with an AC-number qualifies for point earnings as well lounge access according to our Aeroplans-friends.

Lounge access with Rouge on AC-ticket?
