Finding award hotel availability

Hi all,

I have a small number of Eurobonus points (just under 50000).

I would like to use them for a night or two in a hotel - does anyone know if there's a tool which is good for searching redemption availability ? The form on the website is rubbish !

No other chance, the EuroBonus website is the only way to find and book hotel awards. And yes, the search function - and also availability - really sucks. I'd spend the 50k on flights... easier to do, much higher value.

That's a shame, but at least they are value until 2022 :D

As a matter of interest, is there a generally accepted valuation for EB points ?

The standard at which SAS trades points is around 0.01$ / point.

I usually manage to redeem at 0.03$ to 0.04$ point at European flights and way higher for those long haul J or even F class flights.

wouldn’t spend points below 0.02$ / point

Copenhagen to Tokyo is usually around 25K DKK in business at 100K points that is 0.04 US$ per point. Typically starting in Europe will push the cost of the flight down to sub 20K DKK.

With the new 225K award price for an F award to Asia, that would pan out at 0.06 to 0.08 US$ per point. Maybe South America or Australia can push it a bit higher, but at 285K points for F to Australia I doubt it.

At 50k points for a Nordic to Europe Plus redemption you'd have to work pretty hard to find a price going much above 0.02 US$ per point. Even reaching 0.02US$ would a bit of a challenge.
