SAS has three lounges at Oslo (OSL), two of which are located in the schengen-area, above gate E2:

- SAS Gold Lounge (access for EBP, EBD, EBG, *A Gold, *A First Class, located within the SAS Lounge)
- SAS Lounge (access for SAS Business, SAS Plus, *A Business)

The third lounge is located in the domestic area of OSL airport, opposite of gate A2, right after security:

- SAS Domestic Lounge (access for SAS Business, SAS Plus, *A Business)

In addition to the SAS lounges there is the following contract lounges at CPH:

- OSL Lounge (Schengen area, above gate E2, next to SAS lounges, between Piers A and B, access with AMEX Platinum, among others, there is a normal are and a premium area with more restrictive access rules, but better food and beverage offerings)

*G lounge access departing OSL/LHR on SK in Y

Hi all,

I will travel OSL-LHR-OSL in Jun in economy (SAS Go, U and T classes). I hold hold *G status with THAI, and will arrive/depart OSL having arrived from Seoul via Bangkok on TG in business class on a separate ticket. OSL is as far as we could reach for wife's award ticket for the curious!

From reading of the Star Alliance lounge access rules, and a browse through the threads here, it seems there will be no problems for wife and I to access:

  • SK lounge in OSL prior to departure on SK (*G on SAS Go fare);
  • UA/SQ/AC/LH lounges in LHR prior to departure on SK (*G SAS Go fare); and
  • SK lounge in OSL prior to departure on TG (business class)

Cheers, TK

SK will steer you towards the LH lounge at LHR. I would recommend giving yourself plenty of time before your flight, and braving the hike through the tunnel to the B satellite where you can have a drink in the stunning UA bar and then move to the SQ lounge for the terminal's best food, before you need to walk back to the A terminal where most SK flights depart from.

For breakfast timing I like the Air Canada options better than the Singapore Airlines options. I have yet to test UA. Despite what people say, I don't find the walk between A and B that daunting.

Thanks all. We will be on the SK flight that departs 1730 having spent the morning sightseeing. I suspect Mrs TK will be after the nearest place of respite at LHR.

How are the queues departing LHR? Turing up 3 hours prior to Check in adequate?

More than plenty. T2 is normally rather efficient.

You also have Fast Track security as *G so three hours should give you time to try all the lounges!

Don't forget that as *G you can access the Gold Lounge (once you enter the lounge it is a separate lounge on the left, you need to scan your B/P's again)

Usually more crowded, but larger. food appears to be slightly better, and the drinks are better (booze, and better wines)

Agree But hard booze (if you fancy a drink or two) is only available in the Gold lounge.

Exactly. The Gold lounge has booze, and better wines than the C-lounge

SAS Lounges Oslo (OSL)

I have seen this sign above the kiosk at domestic part of Oslo Gardermoen earlier today.

Has anyone heard anything about new SAS lounge at Oslo Gardermoen?
