LO operates CPH-ORB and CPH-GRQ
I was just surprised to discover that LO operates CPH-ORB and CPH-GRQ now, with one of the planes that overnights in CPH. Apparently they now they park 2 Embraers overnight at Kastrup. The flight numbers are strange (for instance LO8841) and are code share with SK. Are these legacy SK connections, and they are wet leased, or something like that? Or is LO trying to expand in CPH?

LO has now two evening flights from WAW to CPH and two morning flights from CPH to WAW. I thought that one of these was done with the same machine as the ORB/GRQ rotations. But I did not check that. And I did not realize they do more than one rotation to ORB/GRQ a day. I am even surprised that there is enough commercial interest. I just hope that they are not doing this effort in vain.

Previously discussed in the LH forum: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/lufth...why-route.html
CPH-ORB used to be operated by Estonian. When they folded, Nordica was founded, and they used Adria aircraft and AOC to operate the route. The CPH-GRQ route was added later on, making the route ORB-CPH-GRQ.
A couple of months ago, LOT took over the ops, and they use BMI aircraft for this route.
So it's a Nordica route operated by LOT using BMI aircraft. Not complicated at all.

I doubt there has been any affort to promote it as "Nordica" flight, because there is likely no brand awareness yet. But selling it as a typical *A flight catches more attention and gives options to pax.
