The cube looks only half filled... have the contents settled or are they reducing the fillings?
Imho they should just skip the cube distribution show and offer plus pax to order from the menu (which can include the cube).

The menu doesn't have anything exciting on it either unless you think a brownie or potato chips are a meal since the sealed sandwiches they served where made 3 months ago.

I have one gripe with the box: it’s totally impractical. It’s too deep and the cutlery is too small. It is exactly the opposite of Nordic design, which focuses on practicality. As to the taste and quality of the food - start a debate on pineapple on pizza to show how subjective this is.

Dry salted, smoked shoulder of lamb from Kvarnträsk with sorrel steamed root vegetables, picked red cabbage and a distilled vinegar mayonnaise. Served with bay leaf oats and a parsley emulsion
Not sure if we are supposed to know about Kvarnträsk.
This was from Zürich to Stockholm. I was quite hungry as the flight was terribly late but it was so bad that I couldn't eat any of it.

I flew on Plus from LAX to ARN and also Plus from ARN to PRG. Going back, I was on business class from ARN to ORD. The little box i had from ARN to PRG was the BEST meal I had on all of the flights. Much better than what I was served on business.

I've enjoyed one or two of the Cubes (specifically the one that comes with fish eggs and salmon - that was excellent).
It's nice that they're representing Nordic cuisine but at the same time, they could make some of those combinations a bit more accessible.
After flying in the US domestically recently, I've become more grateful for the Cube - the Delta snack basket just doesn't cut it for 3 hours in the air.

The equivalent to the cube on a Delta flight would be the proper drinks and meal service in First. I've not seen 3 hour flights where the snack basket was offered while I have on flights of an hour or less.

That can easily be seen 1400+ miles flights departing after 8pm only gets snacks. 900 to 1399 miles flights does not get meals with departure between 1:30pm and 4pm, nor after 8pm. Flights less than 900 miles (with a few exceptions) are snacks, that's up 2 hours or so.
