Was in the exact same situation - new booking class is Z and i have never had trouble receiving new booking class points 200% with A3 (for example when upgrading from a cheap Y fare to premium economy I usually get the new A-class points)

All in all it is a fair price. If you are not *G then an upgraded long haul leg will also give you SAS lounge access in CPH.

I was upgraded 38h before departure from CPH-SFO with the minimum bid(155 euro). If I understand well expertflyer the flight seems to be almost full(4 blocked and 1 available in economy+, a lot of blocked in economy, and almost full in business)

Today checked the Plusgrade page on my upcoming CPH-NRT flight (7th of May). I had previously placed a bid of 23500 points for Plus-to-Business upgrade. Now opening the same bid for changes, the minimum bid is 2300 points and the maximum bid is 7100 points. Anyone seen such scale and should I now place the "Strongest" bid of 7100 points?

Placed a minimum bid of 23000 points for ARN-LAX for me and the missus from PY to J last Wednesday and was upgraded -48 hours of departure.
Had never flown SK C long haul before and had read reviews on FT and blogs and thus approached the J-upgrade with some caution and warned the missus of the inherent risk that we might be underwhelmed by the overall experience by a disinterested crew, poor service, bad IFE and mediocre food.
We were so wrong - the flight exceeded all expectations. The Swedish crew was upbeat and smiling, service-minded and overall great, food was excellent, (Löjrom is top-3 of the best airline food, I have ever had), there was no shortage of champagne, speciality Mikkeller beer and snack bites in-between dinner service, I loved the Filippa K-amenity kit, the vantage-seat is spacious and very comfortable and the IFE system that gets a lot of stick here had a lot of relatively new movies I had not seen (I caught Bohemian Rhapsody, A Star is Born, Crazy Rich Asians) The only bad thing to say about our experience was the poor wifi-connection, but that doesn't detract from an overall 5-star J-experience.

Great that you had a good flight!
Löjrom and Mikkeller (and in general Nordic food style) is very depend on individual tastes. Even though living in the Nordics I have not yet (after many years) really opened up to it. With the exception of Salmon and some of the shellfish stuff.
I always argue that the Swedish long haul crews are usually much better than the Danish or Norwegian ones but that is just based on my subjective individual experience. I somehow always end up on the flights with the ancient Danish grannys and grandads or Norwegian Vikingwarriors which beat every UA dinosaur FA in terms of rudeness, lack of customer focus and just a “I don’t give a f*** attitude” while on most of my flights with the Swedish crews I had quite young (mid twenties to mid thirties) FAs which did their job with a smile.
But as said... probably just biased by experience
