ETK numbers vs missing points

Hi, I have traveled by some star alliance members like TAP Portugal and Brussel Air Lines, but their E Ticket numbers do not match with the maximum allowable number of digits in missing point forms, it means I can not register the points. In addition for other airlines it has taken more than three months! and no missing point is given to me after my request.
Can anybody advise me. Is it normal with SAS Eurobonus Program? I mean is the service level supposed to be that poor.

If you can't claim online there is the manual option. I.e. sending an email with the claim. The online claims are usually pretty quick, and even manual claims would be on the slow side with 3 months. Though at times the manual ones does take a lot of time. I would give member service a call and ask if I was you.

If the e-ticket number is too long just truncate it to the maximum number fitting into the online form. Sometimes some airlines append a running number to the e-Ticket which is not required for the claim of mileage credit.

And yes, manual claim can take up to 3 months. In the last year or two they usually clear faster but sometimes they will take that long

Sometimes the coupon No. will be added to the ticket No. on the BP, i.e. xxx1 for the first coupon, xxx2 for the second and so on. In this case simply remove the last digit. The ticket No. is always the 3 digit airline code + 10 digits.
