Not just SK - I tried this many times with various airlines - when a flight is fully booked there is nothing they can do.

Once my sis's QF flight from HKG-SYD whole flight without IFE - all she got was an apology.

If you write to SK, you might get some compensation.

So, looking out at fares for a trip on work next month to PEK and PVG. Outbound is wide open on LX/OS in P and google flights shows a SK return in D for 3500EUR. So tried to recreate the segments in Amadeus in order to hand it to my travel office tomorrow. Somehow SK doesn't want to sell the return in D, but force me into C:
