Delay in intercontinental flights
Dear all,
I was wondering when a intercontinental flight with SAS is 2 hours delayed it makes me miss my last flight onto my intra continental flight (Also SAS with same PNR), resulting in me needing to have a sleep over at CPH, do I fall under the EU rules that I deserve a compensation? Many thanks SB |
Normally SK is pretty good in taking care of you in such situations. You should get hotel paid, transport locally and meal vouchers. So there is little to complain about :). But as far as I understand you should also be entitled to compensation (depending on the reason for delay). I normally don't pursue compensation if the airline takes the duty of care seriously, though.

Yes you are entitled to compensation.
You should have gotten hotel in CPH, transport to and from hotel, telephone calls, and meal vouchers. In addition, as I assume your flight was more than 3500km, you should also be entitled to 600EUR. See http://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens...r/index_en.htm |
