Crediting
Prob a very stupid noob question, but here goes. Am becoming United Gold these days. Will be flying SAS a bit, and would like to credit my EBB account (and loose 50% bonus points). If I credit EB, is there a way to get my (United) *G recognized!? The reservation can prob hold only one FF number? Thanks for any help!

You need to find an agent which knows how to fill in the FQTS and FGTV into Amadeus correctly which is difficult to find ;)
Best way is: Register the UA*G, use the benefits like lounge etc and then change it at the gate to EBB. |
If you don't need priority bag tags and the extra piece of luggage, I'd make sure that I have my non-*G registered at check-in. I have tried the lounge and they are helpful but you never know if the lounge dragon allows you to do that.
|
Also, if you do flash your UA card in order to use the lounge, be careful that some overly helpful lounge dragon doesn't replace the EBB# in your booking with your UA#.

She works for a public organization in Norway, which means that she's not allowed to earn any bonus points on job travel. She can have the gold benefits, though, as there are no regulations on that. So far on every trip she had to send a support request afterwards to get her points removed: not a single SAS employee has done it right at once so far. The tip of including a gate agent to do some work here sounds good. I'll ask her if she can just enjoy all benefits and ask the lounge dragon or gate agent to remove the EBG number again. |

If you use the SAS app you can also change the FFP.
Get into the lounge, open the app and remove the program number. Any way, how does she qualify for EBG if no flights are credited? Do the government/non profit/public organization has an agreement with SAS to just upgrade employees? But then it should be easy for them to zero out the earnings on the profiles which would make sense? But I smell SK IT all over it... |

I guess she can qualify Gold by segments - since segments are not points related. TIA! |

You can edit all pax on the same PNR or just look up the PNR for somebody else as well (Add booking)

... Example, correct me if wrong: Get a A3*gold card, flying SK having A3 entered, get into lounge and once there, change the A3 FFP to EB. Water-proof? I will most probably start doing this, my SK flights have become less and less but wish to keep *gold and cherrypick EB points |

Yes, that will work pretty well. Not sure the app will accept all possible FFP numbers but from what I know it just pushes the number to the Amadeus Check-In system which should valid the number. So it should work with the majority of FFPs. Certainly it supports the EuroBonus scheme.
The only thing you're giving up is the famous strictly enforced priority boarding in SAS hubs ;) But by any chance they would call out Gold priority boarding first you can still flash the card. |

. For us Finns that perk might as well be renamed perk-ele |
Not to highjack your thread OP but I also have a little credit question though different.
This might be a big newbie question but here we go: If I book and pay 2 tickets from CPH -> ORD in Plus(17.2k points each) both under my EB account.. Will I then get 34.4k points credited towards my status(So almost gold already) or will I only receive for myself and not companion? |

Every passenger will get their own points unfortunately... you cannot collect the Basic points for both of you which count towards the status.
But you can get the points transferred into one account using the pooling 'family account'. That way both will get the Basic points but at the 8th the following month the points from one account will be send as Extra points to the other account. This Extra points do not count towards the status. |

This sounds like the easiest way that I have read here on FT.
