Eurobonus re-launch with new level above Gold

From:
http://e24.no/boers-og-finans/sas-di...aarer/21523516

Later this fall SAS will re-launch Eurobonus with a new level above Gold. Pandion will still exist and the new level will tighten the gap between Gold and the 2.000 Pandion members.

The re-launch will happen later this fall.

What kind of benefits are they going to (re-?)introduce for this third tier? Will the current elite tiers retain their *S and *G benefits as is?

What do you guys expect it will take to qualify for the new level? is 100.000 qualifying points a reasonable assumption? Just need to know whether I should start planning a mile-run in my current qualifyin period...

SK won't do that to SK*G. Maybe LH would do that to *Gs.

Probably 100 K, but the question is more how many of them should come from SK flights...

That would really surprise me. When it comes to the major alliance carriers: European airlines seem to be going away from them more than going to them; American airlines have increasingly restricted them; and Asian carriers haven't been doing a whole lot on that front.

Is SAS going to get in the game of lifetime elite status? The LH group, BA-IB, AF-KL, AY, DL, AA, and UA have lifetime elite status opportunities as do at least one or two big Asian carriers. Maybe SK doesn't expect itself to be around long enough to be worth even peddling such a benefit?

But SK already have lifetime gold status!

10 years as gold will give you this - you just have to be 60 years of age (or older)............

Thanks, I had not recalled that it sort of works like it does with LH, with the age discrimination aspect.

Still, it shows a healthy optimism regarding the life expectancy of the company vs the life expectancy of its customers.
