When I recently checked in at Radisson Blu Plaza in Oslo, I was informed about the card match campaign (upon showing my EBG-card), filled out a form, and got an instant upgrade to a Business Class-room.

I tried back in march, but got this answer:

Thank you for taking the time to write.

We appreciate your recent message.

We apologized but we only match Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, Priority Club
and Starwood programs.

A nice perk with Gold Elite is that I now could take advantage of the offer to book 4 nights and pay for 2. Valid for up to two rooms and if you stay either from Wednesday or Thursday. There is a 2 for 1 offer as well, valid from Thursday or Friday night.

This has just saved me and a colleague 600 euros in Reykjavik!

I just checked in at the Radisson blu at OSL and was upgraded to a suite

Asked for a statusmatch some three weeks ago and got immediate confirmation.
After three stays as Gold Elite the outcome so far is one upgrade to suite and two upgrades to Business Class^

I sent mine to Club Carlson Memberservice en english first and it is then answered from US member service. They refused to match.

After trying again in Norwegian it was all fixed, so probably its only "Rezidor" who does the match...

I also emailed [email protected] and got this reply:
We do value your business and appreciate you as a Club Carlson member. We would like to offer to match elite status that you have, with either Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, Priority Club, and Starwood only. We can match top level to Gold Elite and second level to Silver Elite. Our newest Concierge Elite level cannot be matched, it must be earned.

In order to match status, please provide us with proof of current membership, either a copy of your current loyalty card or current statement showing your current status and the date that your account is valid through.

You can scan this and send this via email or fax this to us at 1-402-501-9166, please include your Club Carlson number with your request.

I replied to their email with a screenprint of my Marriott Plat. status and recent activity, and was upgraded to Gold within a day.
