How to identify SK booking class

Hi guys,

Perhaps a simple questions for most of you experts in here, but at least I haven't figured it out yet. I am trying to book a ticket with SK going SGD-EWR and back. I would like to figure out what I earn point wise before I book, so I need to find the booking class of a given ticket. I have found the ticket rules for the ticket in question, but I cannot finde the exact location of the booking class. What should I look for?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards

Peter

The first letter of the fare is usually the booking class. KLDKECO e.g., is K-class.
Not all booking sites gives you this info, but for instance www.wideroe.no does. Widerĝe is a SAS Group airline.

You could also paste your PNR on Lufthansa.com and it will display the booking class (alongside other interesting data as well).

Yes, but not until after booking...

Yep, a lot of ppl seem to struggle with this even after a booking is made.

If you book on SAS-sites, you can click "Show eurobonus points (vis Eurobonus-point)" below the total price and tax breakdown on the right side of the booking page. So you know how many points you will get, also booking classes.
If this doesn't work (this function sometimes doesn't work), you can click the ticket type, for example economy flexible, beside the travel dates under Price and Info on the right side of the booking page. Then you click "show fare rules" on the dialogue box. So you can see the whole ticket rules, and the booking class will be there too. But this might be a bit complicated..

Thanks guys,

As jefi99 mentionned, it was before the booking was made. I know that you can click "Show Eurobnus points" on the SK website, as mentionned by fqtvcph, but in this case, I couldn't get it to work because of my flight from SGD to CPH in the itinerary. This was the reason why I wanted to check through the ticket rules and also why I needed to understand how to identify the booking class in that whole kaos of information that is in the ticket rules.

Could it be an idea to make a post here in the forums that explains exactly what every piece of nifo in the ticket rules means so that we could use that as a reference ni the future for noob questions like mine? ;)

Give yourselves a great day

Peter

If you want a specific booking-class you can book on www.wideroe.no and put in a note about it. Then use chat/e-mail to ask about the specific class and what price it will give before they ticket/cancel it. Wideroe also let you cancel the ticket within 24 hours of booking. ^
