Problem registering EB # online with LH
 

Twice in the last two months I've had this problem: When I'm online at LH, for an LH flight, it won't recognize my EB # for FF registration. I get a message that the number and name don't match.

I think I understand why, my EB name uses my middle initial and when I book flights online I normally use just my first and last name. I've had no problem with this slight variation with online bookings with SK or TK. I've only had this problem with LH. It's not a big problem, as I gave my EB # at check in for the last LH flight and that worked OK, but I think it's always "safest" to have the FF # in the system before a flight.

Is this just a quirk with LH and EB, or have others encountered this elsewhere?

I have had the same problem also with my EB number and LH. But both before and after it has worked OK, so I am not sure what the issue is.

I just then goto a LH and get them to enter the number manually onto my boarding pass (they then normally print you another one).
