Actually I am in doubt about this. I was referring to domestic Denmark routes. Does SAS-Norway not even have Economy Extra? I see different 'classes' than I've ever seen with SAS; 'Happy', 'Flex' and 'Full Flex'

No, it's either I (business) or X (economy). I am unable to book the Economy Extra class. Since "basic" economy is the only class of service offered within Norway, this is somewhat moot but thanks for your info.

As the OP of this thread, I just want to report back as to what happened.

Today is the first day to be able to book my *A reward flight on SK from KKN to LHR via OSL on February 18, 2011. I am somewhat disappointed that no seat is available. I surmise that none was released.

Code:

KKN  Kirkenes Hoeybuktmoen NO [ENKR]
OSL  Oslo Metro / Oslo Gardermoen NO = OSL TRF RYG [ENGM]
FRI  18 Feb 2011 | 2 Seats

Some seats are available on the OSL-LHR segment but on the later flights. Even if I purchase a revenue ticket for the KKN-OSL segment, it will be a long layover at OSL.

Oh well.... I tried!

EDIT TO ADD:
Yes, it appears that SK releases seats at 330 days in advance and there may not be any reward seat released on every flight, including those that only have single daily service, e.g., KKN-OSL.

Using the ANA tool, one can never find any biz awards available for some reason in the summertime!

Any ideas if they block these - or are redeemed early as it's a popular route?

There are SK C awards to/from EWR/ORD/IAD but these are often booked well in advance during the summer holidays. Also, it might be that they are released only for Eurobonus members?
