Airside tranfer from AS to UA

I will be flying into SFO on an AS flight and I have an outbound UA flight in 70 minutes. Is there any possibility of an airside transfer between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 or do I have to come out and go thru security again?

TIA

I've heard rumors of a US-UA transfer somewhere in T1 but I have never seen it. I think you will likely need to re-clear security. Keep in mind that the security for the AA area leads to the same secured area as UA, and the AA lines are often much shorter.

70 minutes should be plenty assuming an on-time arrival and interlined bags/online checkin.

Thanks for the tip about the AA lines. I will try it if the premier security lines are closed.
